Roller Derby Boudoir Session. Four words I never knew would go so well until I met Ms. C! Our first conversation took place on the phone, and without knowing much about her I knew we were going to get along. She was kind, respectful funny and seemed wise in years beyond me. It was also during this phone conversation that I got a chance to know to know Miss C. better. She told me how she had an affinity for vintage things, makeup, culture and so many other things that come to mind when we think of that era between the 30’s’s and 50’s.
Her love for vintage and boudoir was not lost on our session, and her images show it! From her roller derby inspired images to her classic vintage green dress with black pumps and polka dot stockings. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it is shoots like this that always end up being my favorites due to the sheer personalization that my clients are able to put into their session.
If you’ve been following this blog for a while then you know that I love capturing the different sides each woman has. This case was no different. Halfway through our shoot Miss C opted for an outfit change that was more reminiscent for her love of punk. She slayed both of her looks!
