I had a blast photographing this beautiful woman, and getting to know her better. When she came in for her session, she was awesome enough to let us record some of her makeup being done and the whole behind-the-scenes setup of her shoot. Getting set up is sometimes almost as fun as the shoot itself.

Throughout the shoot we talked a lot and really got to know each other, which is one of the most fun parts of my job. I don’t know how I got so lucky to be constantly working with such badass, beautiful, and inspiring women!

This awesome lady has some seriously good taste in fashion. We actually joked about her taking me on a personal shopping trip because I absolutely loved everything she had going on. From her cozy sweater getups to her lingerie to the colors that she chose to put together – everything she brought in was just beautiful and made her session really pop.

Miss C had quite the adventure making it back to the studio for her reveal session. She seriously toughed it out, because although she had driven in for her actual shoot, she decided to take the metro when she came back in. It just so happened that it was a day when the metro lines were being especially disastrous. She ended up getting off at a place that was nowhere near the studio, her phone died, and it started raining. But through it all, she still managed to make it to the studio, and it was totally worth it because her session was seriously amaaaayzing and I was so excited for her to view her gorgeous images.
