“This is so outside of my comfort zone”, she said to me shortly after scheduling her boudoir session. And again, a few weeks before her boudoir session took place, miss N let me know this is not normally something she would do but she was going to do it for herself.
The day she viewed the images from her boudoir session, I asked her about her experience.
She expressed how much she had enjoyed it and how happy she was to have gone through with her session. I’ll be honest, I’ve had plenty of clients who have expressed fear and nerves before their session even begins. And I get it, it can be scary to be open up and be vulnerable, especially with strangers but the truth is that it’s the scary times where the growth happens. Believe me, I wish growth happened while I sat in my PJ’s watching Stranger Things but the truth is it’s not. If you’ve thought about going through with a boudoir shoot but don’t know if you have what it takes – believe me you do – I believe every woman does, no matter her age, shape, race, etc. If you’re looking for a reason to go through with this experience, look no further, the best reason is you.
